Go Falcons!
(We still love the Falcons even though they lost yesterday.)
Wyatt is doing "tricks" for Daddy so he can get fed the yummy pumpkin pancakes Daddy makes every Sunday morning.
GO FALCONS! Daddy loves his baby dirty birds!

Lilah at Gymnastics
So there is this little window that I can peek through to watch Lilah when her class is at this activity. This is just a short clip. She is really enjoying gymnastics!

Oreo Balls!
So, Lilah's bus driver will no longer be her bus driver after today. (The neighborhood has/had 3 buses just for elementary school. Now, they are 'downsizing' and only having 2 buses.) Lilah really likes Mr. Rob, so she/we made him Oreo Balls as a 'thank you & goodbye' gift.
Here is how you make 'em! These are THE BEST TREATS EVER!
This is what you will need:
*Package or Oreos
*Package of 8oz cream cheese (softened)
*Package of White Chip Coating (this can be found at your local grocery store)
You will need to finely crush the Oreos. We prefer a blender.
Place finely crushed Oreos into a bowl and REALLY mix in the cream cheese.
Roll into little balls (Your choice of the size, but I do quarter size or a little smaller), place onto a cookie sheet and then put into refrigerator to cool.
Meanwhile, heat the white chip coating according to the package's directions. (We put it in the microwaves at 30 second intervals and mix until it is 'liquidy'.)
Once the Oreos have cooled for about an hour, take them out and dip/roll them into the white chip coating. ***The white chip coating will be HOT! Please be careful! Once I dropped the ball in, I used a spoon to roll them around and then "fish" out the balls.***
Put them back onto the cookie sheet and back into the refrigerator.
Cool for about an hour or until they are hard and cold.
Finally! Take them out of the refrigerator... Enjoy!
WARNING: These are addicting and there may be an urge to eat all of them!
*One batch can make about 40 Oreo Balls.
Wyatt begs for Oreo Balls
Lilah and I made our amazing Oreo Balls yesterday. Last night, after dinner, we had a couple and as Matt was eating his, Wyatt tried to eat what was in his mouth. (I guess it smelled so yummy and the consistency looked like his normal baby food he figured he'd eat it right out of his mouth.) I bit into mine and gave him a tiny bit of the 'Oreo'. He started to beg and 'woof' like a dog. SIT! BEG!

Playing Catch with Dad
What a beautiful morning to play catch with Dad! Matt took Lilah out front to learn how to throw and catch a ball. She really enjoyed this time with Dad. She took the ball to her face and body a few times and didn't cry once. She is a tough little cookie.
Weekends are FUN!!!
Daddy and Wyatt watching football.
Wyatt just loves to pose for the camera. All you have to do is say, "Cheeeeese!" and he starts smiling!
Sunday morning, playing in the laundry basket is an adventure!
Helping me do laundry! I hope this lasts! (He ended up wanting to look in the dryer and bang his hands against it, too.)
TICKLE LILAH TIME! Wyatt loves to 'attack' his sister with kisses and slobber!
GRRRR...GIGGLE GIGGLE!

Lunch with 'Auntie' Caroline
My long time BFF Caroline and I try to have lunch at least once a month. It is ALWAYS at McAllister's and ALWAYS at noon. (It makes things easier for me to remember when it is the same! Speaking of 'same', I ALWAYS order the same thing! Only this time I got an Arnold Palmer to drink instead of lemonade. YUMMMMMY!)
I can't wait for Caroline to have children....!
Caroline - I noticed you were wearing makeup!
Play Date
PLAY DATE!
Wyatt and Blakely playing. Blakely would sit in the formal living room and Wyatt would toss the magnetic letters for her to "fetch".
CHEESE! (I keep catching Wyatt trying to stand without help.)
Blakely is sharing a toy with Wyatt.
Sweet kids!

Car Show
We went to a car and bike show located behind Matt's work.
It was the annual show that we try to go to every year. John and Wendy met up with us. It was interesting hearing them say, "I had that car/bike". They used to be so cool!
Of course, Matt knew several of the guys there and this car happens to be one of those guys. Mr. Bill (a retired Porsche driving instructor) lifted Lilah up and put her in his car. (This is extra special because you are not allowed to touch the cars - let alone SIT IN ONE!) Mr. Bill even had a sign that said, "If you see any dirt notify owner right away."
Here is Mr. Bill's car.

Grandma Carol and Aunt Madelon Visit
Today was Grandparents'/Special Friend Day at school. Family got to go to Lilah's school, check it out, meet her teacher, see where her class is, see her desk and much more. Afterward, they came over to visit with Wyatt and me. As always, we had a lot of laughs and had a great time.

Sage acts as Guardian
Guardian: A defender, protector, or keeper.
Sage is very protective over the kids. She also likes to get 'lucky' and eat the food that doesn't make it into their mouths. I will let you guess what she was doing in the chair across from Wyatt. I was feeding him dinner, got up to check our dinner and turned to see Sage in my seat.
Sage is looking down at Wyatt who is now on the floor ready to explore.
No 'sneaky snack' this time!
Imma Photographer!
My friend asked if I would take pictures of her daughter for her 1st Birthday. I went over to her house and took so many pictures, but here are a few of my favorite ones. (I REALLY love my camera.)
It is a miracle this headband stayed on for a whole 15 seconds!
Peek-A-Boo! (I LOVE this picture)
Wyatt was good just til the last 5 minutes. Outside he thought he'd taste leaves. I should have taken that as my clue that he is hungry.
"Mommy!! I am hungry! I am tired! I want to go home!"
As soon as we got home (Jamie is in the same neighborhood), Wy gladly went down for a nap, with a bottle.
First Timer
I am giving this blog idea a shot so family and friends can feel like they are with us every day. I promise I will try to keep it updated!
