Lilah's 1st Playdate (coming home on the bus)

Yeah, Lilah has had play dates before, but this is the FIRST time a friend came home on the bus with her.  She was SO excited to have Caroline come home with her.  It was Caroline's first time on the bus!  She did such a great job in being brave and getting on the HUGE YELLOW BUS.
They had a busy and fun afternoon!  Caroline called her mom when she came inside to tell her she got here safely and then it was time to play.  Earlier I had made pumpkin bread and the girls had that for snack while they did homework.  Then they made odd shaped cookies and while that cooked they colored egg shells (I blew out the insides - yuck).  After coloring their eggs they were off to play.

Sage sat with the kids.  Wyatt was chowing down on ice.  He has teeth coming in and it makes him feel so much better.

Lilah gave Caroline her egg to give to her sister.  The eggs are in their "nest".

Playing in Li's room.  Earlier in the day I straightened her room and put her pink blanket up so it covered the bottom bunk - it was a hideout/fort!

Pictures from here and there

Random Pictures that I uploaded from my phone.

Wyatt likes to climb up on the window and get stuck.  He does an, "UUH  UHH!" when he can't get down and wants help to get down.  He'll learn.

Out shopping.  Daddy saw this mask and put it on Wyatt.

Lilah's Winter Party at school.  Aunt Maddy and Grandma Carol came down to participate.

Aunt Maddy helped Lilah with the EDIBLE snowman (not Abominable - Edible)

Grandma showing Wyatt Lilah's school work.  She ended up taking him out into the hallway and chasing him up and down it because he wanted to get down and get into everything.

Videos of the kids

Some videos taken on my phone.

Lilah got a microphone (with amp) for Christmas and Wyatt LOVES to use it.

Lilah is an incredible big sister.  She loves to play with Wyatt.  She actually asks me to wake him up from his nap (if he is asleep when she gets home from school) so she can play with him.  She loves to play with him and make him laugh.  Even at the dinner table she likes to play with him.  He absolutely adores her.

Happy Birthday, Lilah!

Lilah is 6 years old now!!  Can you believe it?!  She is growing up so fast!

Lilah got to celebrate her birthday early this year (and later...AND on the special day) because Daddy was out of town on business.  He was all the way in California!  Don't worry, we got to FaceTime (video chat) with him EVERY day!  We also got to send him little video clips telling him that we love him and miss him.
So, Lilah opened her gifts from Mommy, Daddy & Wyatt, Nana & Grandpa, and Aunt Jeanette & Jason & Brian.    Lilah is now a ROCK STAR!  Just ask her.

ON Lilah's birthday, a friend watched Wyatt so I could go have lunch with her at school.  I took in cupcakes for her to share with her classmates and teachers.  (I 'stole' a few from the batch of 30 to have at home and share with others.)  They are SOOOOO good!

The weekend after Daddy returned home from California we celebrated Lilah's birthday at a bowling alley with friends and family.  MANY of her classmates came and it appeared that they all had a great time.

Standing by her gifts and getting ready to tear into them.

Rock star girl!  This is a FLAT guitar that really acts like a guitar.  There are songs on it that she can strum along with or just play on her own.

Clothes from Nana and Grandpa!  She is so stylish now!

An amplifier for the guitar!  "It makes the guitar SO MUCH louder!"

Her initials for her bedroom door!  BLB!

Wyatt watching over his sister - jumping in when he can!

Oh, the excitement!

Hair accessories!  SO EXCITING!  Lilah LOVES hair thingies!

OH BOY!  Headbands!  She still has to master how to put on AND wear these the correct way.

Cake time.  This is the cake Lilah made.

Mommy singing "Happy Birthday"

Make a wish!

Daddy showing Lilah how to change from song to song or to freestyle.
It is plugged into the house stereo - even louder than the amp!

ROCK STAR!

PARTY/BOWLING TIME!!

Grandma with her Grandbabies!

Cosmic Bowling was a lot of fun!

Lilah's cousins Vincent and Morgan came.  Vincent is in the white cap and Morgan is in gray with pink sleeves (Standing in front of Lilah.)

Morgan & Lilah

Michelle (Caroline's Mom) and I got to chit chat while the kids played.
Michelle played a game and kicked butt!
I had an adult lane for the parents/grandparents to play on.  The kids couldn't be the only ones to have fun!

Daddy & Wyatt.  I got a break from holding the lil' guy.  Wyatt was passed around while the adults took their turn to bowl.

Signing the bowling pin for Lilah.

Cupcake time!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

HHHHHHAAAAAPPPPYYY BIRRRRTHDAY TOOOOO YOUUUUU!

Cousin Vincent is a jungle gym at times...Morgan held on to his foot while he walked around with her attached.

Then a lot of the kids used him as a jungle gym.

Happy Birthday sweet baby girl!  We love you!
