Sneaking up on Lilah

Lilah loves to sing in the shower.  This time I caught her doing it...while soaping up the walls.  I pretend to leave and then scare her.  Hee hee hee!

Lilah's School Performance

Lilah just had her first school performance and she did an amazing job!  We are so proud of her!  The Kindergarten show was called "The Box".  The idea is that children use their imagination and can take a simple box and make it into a fire engine, castle, space shuttle, etc.  They sing about these ideas of what a simple box can become.  All of the children had matching shirts (the yellow shirt is used for school events) and looked absolutely adorable!  (It was fun looking at all the proud parents and family members, too.)

Grandma Wendy and Vincent came to the event.

The Box

Wyatt was reading the program

The stage before all the kids came out.

Singing and "dancing"

Painting ... and a birthday cake

I put my OCD to the side and let the kids finger paint!  I didn't have an anxiety attack!!

The kids LOVED playing in the paint.  They were over it after 15 minutes.

Wyatt first was gentle...tasted the paint...then had a lot of fun!

Lilah created a beautiful picture of a monkey climbing a tree.

Wyatt loves his cars!  He makes a "vroom" sound when he plays and when he sees a real car - he points to it and says, "VRROOOOM!  VRRRROOOOM!"

April 24th was Sage's 3rd birthday.  Lilah and made a cake.  Yellow with chocolate icing.  I gave Sage a taste of the cake WITHOUT the icing.  She was giving a LOT of dog treats, carrots, pets and love!

The cake!

Chattahoochee Nature Center

We went to the Chattahoochee Nature Center

Wyatt ran up to this saying "Doggie!  Doggie!"

Lilah gave me flowers.  It was sweet.

Petting the "doggie" and saying AWWW

Kisses
We fed the donkey the flowers.  See them in the mouth?

Butterfly!

There were all kinds of these butterflies throughout the park/center with the name of the butterfly.  It was neat.

A REAL butterfly!

All kind of birds - I think they are/were rescues.

Walking along a trail that is next to the Chattahoochee river

Kisses for my baby girl!

Daddy and Lilah!

Don't we look like a great looking family?!  I think so!

I got a text from Kara - I HAD to reply!
