This was the first time Wyatt got up on this couch on his own.  He pulled down the pillows and used them to step on so he could pull himself up onto the couch.

Date Night just happened to fall on Steve's birthday...double date and celebrate!

What better way to go out and have fun than to go to the range and shoot guns?  (We were the ONLY ones dressed nicely.  Jamie and I kept getting odd looks because we were in high heeled boots.)  We initially were just going to go to dinner and then Andretti's to race cars, but we added shooting in between.  

This was Jamie's first time to EVER hold a gun.  Steve insisted on her shooting the 9mm first instead of the .22!  She shot the 9 and got scared, but was laughing SO hard that all the folks nearby stopped and looked at her with a puzzled expression.  Eventually, Jamie was pretty bad ass with the gun.  We all had a great time.

Lilah went to a "girl party" and dressed up.  They did their nails, make up and danced.  It was so cute!

Lilah's friend Ava Grace came over for a play date.  Ava saw Wyatt walking around with Lilah's coat and decided to put it on him - Lilah thought it was a clever idea and helped.  It was so adorable.

Aunt Kara came over to hang out - she made a key necklace with the girls.  Lilah's friend Caroline came over for another play date.  

Lilah's 1st Playdate (coming home on the bus)

Yeah, Lilah has had play dates before, but this is the FIRST time a friend came home on the bus with her.  She was SO excited to have Caroline come home with her.  It was Caroline's first time on the bus!  She did such a great job in being brave and getting on the HUGE YELLOW BUS.  

They had a busy and fun afternoon!  Caroline called her mom when she came inside to tell her she got here safely and then it was time to play.  Earlier I had made pumpkin bread and the girls had that for snack while they did homework.  Then they made odd shaped cookies and while that cooked they colored egg shells (I blew out the insides - yuck).  After coloring their eggs they were off to play.

Sage sat with the kids.  Wyatt was chowing down on ice.  He has teeth coming in and it makes him feel so much better.  

Lilah gave Caroline her egg to give to her sister.  The eggs are in their "nest".

Playing in Li's room.  Earlier in the day I straightened her room and put her pink blanket up so it covered the bottom bunk - it was a hideout/fort!

Wyatt likes to climb up on the window and get stuck.  He does an, "UUH  UHH!" when he can't get down and wants help to get down.  He'll learn.

Lilah got a microphone (with amp) for Christmas and Wyatt LOVES to use it.

Lilah is an incredible big sister.  She loves to play with Wyatt.  She actually asks me to wake him up from his nap (if he is asleep when she gets home from school) so she can play with him.  She loves to play with him and make him laugh.  Even at the dinner table she likes to play with him.  He absolutely adores her.
