Lilah wanted a "big girl" bike, so we told her if she sold her Barbie Jeep and Barbie 4-wheeler she could use that money and buy a new bike. I posted the Power Wheels on craigslist and they sold! So, last weekend, we went and got her a new bike. She LOVES it! Daddy and Lilah went for a bike ride to test out her new set of wheels. Eventually the training wheels will come off and we'll have a hard time keeping up with her. I wanted to go for a ride with them, but someone had to stay home with the sleeping baby. Li gets enough time with me when she gets home from school and really loves her time of "DADDY & ME" so it was Daddy that got to go! Anyway, this is her first time on the road with her new bike!
We have something called a Chariot (an enclosed rolling style stroller/jogger) that we can attach to the back of one of our bikes (Matt's) and pull along. Wyatt can sit in it, buckled up, and ride with us. When Lilah was too small to ride a bike, we'd take her on paved trails with it. She loved it and usually fell asleep. It's been a few years since we've gone for a ride...with Matt's shoulder surgery, me being pregnant and then the lil guy being too small to go. I am excited for the four of us to get out there and ride!
