One of Matt's friends/customers loaned us a BEAUTIFUL pontoon boat for the day. Matt chose his birthday as the day to take off of work and go out on the lake! The lake was warm, beautiful, not crowded...the day was perfect and HOT! One of Matt's coworkers loaned us his "tube" to pull behind the boat.
We're all piled into the boat minus my hubby, whose gone off to retrieve the tube from the nearby boat and this conversation happens.
Maddy - "JJ, what do you think one of these cost?"
Me - "Uh, I'd guess about 25...?"
As we're pulling out of the dock Matt informs us that the boat our tushes are on costs $77k!!
Me - "Holy crap! I was WAY wrong! I guess I don't know my boats! I need to learn!"

Wyatt took to Matt M like white on rice. My son was so well taken care of it meant one less thing I had to worry about. Those that know me, know that I worry too much and am paranoid about the kids, but with Matt M taking care of him - it was kinda like a day off!
This life vest has fit Li for the past 3 years. Bless her heart, she tells us that she hates being tiny/small. At least it's saved us from having to buy a $40 vest each year!

We found a secluded island and beached the boat to play in the water a bit.
Eventually, Hubby, Madelon, Sean and I went to go find a place to inflate the tube for some tube action!
Matt M is going to make a kick ass dad one day. He is so good with the kids. Such a gentle man!

Baby Boy was tired and it was nap time. I climbed back on the boat to coax him to sleep.

Maddy and Sean had, I think, the most fun on this thing...they'd jump and try and get air, knock each other off, and try to stand, lie down, etc.
I got on the tube with Lilah. I had her under/between my legs. I swear, I've NEVER held so tight behind a boat before! I bet I crushed her some holding onto to her and the tube. She was having so much fun. She'd squeal with delight as Daddy skid us from side to side or hit wake. He was gentle with us compared to what he did to Maddy and the boys.

Then I joined Maddy and Sean. This scared the bee-jee-sus out of me. Then, when we weren't dropping the SH*T word, we were all laughing and giggling. Matt could really fling us from side to side.

And...Wyatt fell asleep with his new best pal.

See Sean's feet hooked in the HANDles?! Patty was yelling at him to not do it that way and to be careful. I think she was worried he'd do something stupid and get hurt...I can't see WHY she'd think that! (that last sentence was FULL of sarcasm.)

I made sure to go SO slowly and not be near ANY other boater. We had a little "cove" to ourselves and it was nice and safe.

I was so impressed. They had such a good time.
